The history of May Day isn’t a history of peaceful compromise. It’s the history of working people realizing that the absolute only leverage we have is our labor, our consumption, and our numbers. When we stop, their world stops. When we withhold our sweat, their profits evaporate. We didn’t get weekends, basic safety regulations, or labor rights because a CEO suddenly found a conscience. We got it because workers made it entirely too expensive for them not to give it to us. We hit their wallets. We made them bleed green.

Look at the strikes and the labor movements fighting tooth and nail right now. It is the exact same war. The corpo rats of today are hoarding historic, record shattering wealth while the rest of us are told to budget better for basic survival. It’s a rigged game, and playing by their rules is quiet surrender.

Withholding our labor, boycotting, striking, hitting the streets, and crashing their quarterly earnings is the only language the system respects. It is the only way to truly fight back against a machine built to consume you.

You want your life back? You want your dignity back? Stop asking the rats for permission. Hit the streets. Shut it down. Make them bleed green.
