Collaborators rely on the idea that they are untouchable. They think they can extract labor and money from our communities while simultaneously handing our neighbors over to the authorities. They treat the police state as a customer service hotline to resolve labor disputes.
The Tactic: They use the threat of ICE to suppress wages, stop unionization, or settle petty grudges.
The Mistake: They forget who actually pays their bills.
How to Hold Them Accountable
The response seen in the @dine_fit video is the only language these entities understand: Total Revenue Collapse.
Identify and Isolate: When a business collaborates, the community must know immediately. Do not rely on rumors; verify the incident (police scanner audio, witness statements, footage) and then broadcast it.
The “Safety Hazard” Label: Stop calling it a “boycott.” Call it a Safety Advisory. A business that cal is unsafe for anyone who values privacy. If they will snitch on a cook, they will snitch on a customer. Frame the boycott as a public health quarantine.
Sustain the Pressure: The news cycle moves fast, but the collaboraters bank on us forgetting. The empty parking lot must remain empty for weeks, not days. It sends a signal to every other franchise owner in a 50-mile radius: Collaboration is a bankruptcy sentence.
