I almost feel sorry for this guy, he is the definition of a born loser. That, however, doesn't excuse him from his actions. It's painfully clear he is a maga of the highest order and to call him anything less would not be true. I dont think the maggats will claim ownership because even they recognize what a loser this guy is. Trump's greatest power is to weaponize victimhood; he is the pied piper of white males with low self-esteem and convinces them they have been done wrong. There is a dark power in that ability and Trump knows it.
However, as you said it does not excuse it. In my life I have helped so-called racists realize they were not and other times no progress was made. I do hope he faces the full extent of the law. Sadly, I have this foreboding feeling Trump will pardon him. The rule of law means nothing to this administration.
