Donate directly to support her family: 👉 In Memory of Dr. Linda Davis (GoFundMe)
(Currently $16,159 of $45,000 goal - 317 donors helping)
I’ve already put my own money down because we cannot wait for anyone else to save us. For the next 14 days, we are turning grief into sustained action through mutual aid and community power.
How the 75% Pledge Drive Works For the next 14 days (Feb 24 to Mar 9), 75% of every new paid Eyes On ICE subscription will go straight to Dr. Davis’s family GoFundMe.
Then on February 16, 2026, ICE agents initiate a high-speed chase through residential streets near a school during morning drop-off. They pursue a man fleeing a traffic stop. They watch as his vehicle runs a red light and slams into Dr. Linda Davis’s car. They stand on the scene as she is trapped in the wreckage. They watch as first responders fight to save her.
And still... no usable camera evidence. Anomalies everywhere. Questions unanswered. A clear pattern of obstruction.
Dr. Linda Davis should still be alive today.
This 52-year-old beloved special education teacher at Hesse K-8 School in Savannah was driving less than half a mile to greet her students with the radiant smile that lit up their world. Instead, her life ended in a preventable crash caused by a man fleeing ICE agents.
Timeline of an Avoidable Tragedy
January 2026: ICE cameras across Savannah go dark. Community reports of blacked-out body cams and vehicle footage are ignored.
February 16, 2026 (~7:20 AM): ICE initiates a traffic stop on Oscar Vasquez-Lopez near the Truman Parkway, blocks from Hesse K-8 School during the morning commute.
The Pursuit: Lopez flees. ICE launches a high-speed pursuit through residential streets.
The Impact: At the intersection of Whitefield Avenue, the fleeing vehicle runs a red light and collides directly with Dr. Linda Davis’s car.
The Abandonment: ICE agents arrive immediately on the scene. Reports confirm they watched as emergency crews cut her from the crushed vehicle.
The Loss: Dr. Davis is rushed to the hospital but is pronounced dead. A devoted wife to Consweulo Davis, mother, sister, and educator who poured pure joy into hundreds of special-needs children is gone forever.
Dr. Linda Davis did not have to die. This death was completely avoidable. People are not asking enough questions. Why chase at high speed so close to a school? Why the camera blackouts since January?
Why were agents on scene watching and still no clear footage? Could de-escalation, better coordination, or simply choosing NOT to pursue have saved her?
We have enough eyes to shine a powerful light on this tragedy and demand real answers.
