Ever Alvarenga Rios
32 year old Honduran worker, was driving to his job when ICE agents chose to weaponize their pickup truck and slam it into the back of his white van on Haven Street.

This is the direct result
The crushed front end of the ICE truck buried in Rios vehicle. No accident. No pursuit justification. Deliberate ramming of a civilian in morning traffic.
The human cost
Rios in a neck brace, face and chest covered in severe bruising and lacerations, hands bloody and swollen, arm in a cast, concussion confirmed by his wife.
Attorneys Stonewalled
ICE excuse carousel: medical stabilization to paperwork problems to outright ban so long as he remains hospitalized, ICE will not allow us access. This is not bureaucracy. It is deliberate isolation to prevent documentation of the injuries and block due process.
Rios has lived in the United States for 12 years. He was actively pursuing permanent legal status through the system. None of that protected his body from ICE vehicle or their subsequent obstruction of counsel.
DHS has issued zero comment on the crash, the injuries, or the constitutional violation.
This is the operating model
Treat migrant workers as disposable inputs for capital, deploy tactical vehicle violence when convenient, then seal off legal oversight to fast track removal and shield the agency. The pattern repeats nationwide. The photos and wreckage are not anomalies they are the system delivering exactly what it was built to do.
