The 2026 Community Defense Guide

1. Universal “Street” Protocol
If you see enforcement activity, your first priority is to move from Biometric to ncies to force a passcode than a thumbprint or face scan.
iOS: Hold the Power button + either Volume button for 2 seconds. The power-off slider will appear; hit Cancel. Biometrics are now disabled.

Android: Use Lockdown Mode from your power . This instantly wipes the fingerprint/face requirements for the next unlock.

2. Android Hardening
Android devices are primary targets for commercial data harvesting. Close these backdoors now.
Delete Advertising ID: This is the primary “breadcrumb” ICE buys from brokers. Go to Settings > Google > All Services > Ads > Delete Advertising ID.

Turn off Location History: Stop Google from creating a permanent of your life. Go to Settings > Location > Location Services.

3. iOS (iPhone) Hardening
Apple provides strong defaults, but you must manually kill the “Significant Locations” tracker.
Stop App Tracking: Deny apps the right to follow you across the web. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Clear Significant Locations: Wipe the hidden history of your frequent spots. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > System Services.
