A Protest Zone Has Been Announced, Yet There Is Still No Information Where This Zone Is At.

Let us be perfectly:

Clear about the dynamics on the ground. Since the hunger strike began inside that private facility, ICE and their private security contractors have been the sole, undeniable aggressors.

Ground reporting from WHYY News and CBS News confirms that federal agents have repeatedly escalated the violence. They are the ones deploying pepper spray into crowds. They are the ones swinging batons. They are the ones tackling peaceful New Jersey residents and dragging them away from the driveway.

Yet, when a federal entity commits serial battery on state soil, the Governor’s response is not to arrest the perpetrators. Her response is to draw an imaginary box for the citizens to stand in.

This is what it looks like when local government bends the knee to the prison industrial complex. According to Insider NJ, Governor Sherrill claimed this phantom zone is necessary because she will not give ICE the pretext to expand operations in the state.

That is not strategic leadership. That is absolute capitulation.

ICE has already expanded its operations. They have effectively declared a domestic exclusion zone on Doremus Avenue. They have unilaterally decided that constitutional rights are suspended the moment you walk near their gates. By focusing state resources on managing the protesters rather than stopping the federal assault, the New Jersey establishment is functioning as the customer service wing for GEO Group and the Department of Homeland Security.

They are protecting the capital extraction happening inside Delaney Hall by attempting to corral the resistance outside. The state is providing the optics of democratic oversight while ICE maintains the brutal reality of the cage. New Jersey officials have chosen to facilitate the facility operations rather than challenge its violent existence.

They have bent the knee. And until they actually publish a map showing us where this supposed safe zone is, the entire announcement is nothing, but political theater designed to pacify a public that is watching the empire crack in real time.

Analyst addendum: walking all over ICE with material facts: This is not “law enforcement.” This is the prison-industrial complex (GEO Group’s for-profit cage) weaponizing federal power to extract profit from human misery while state Democrats perform managed dissent.

The hunger strikers inside are exposing the rot-spoiled food, medical neglect, heat torture-not “rioters.” ICE’s pepper spray and batons are the aggressors’ tools; the governor’s phantom zone is the collaborator’s fig leaf. No map = no accountability. Close the facility.

End the contracts.

The cages were always the grift.
